State of the Art

The FIRESAFE® 3 K90 was developed for safe and efficient use in commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Its large open area ensures low pressure losses and stable system performance. The robust housing made of sheet steel or stainless steel and the insulated damper blade ensure high temperature resistance and a long service life.

The spring-return actuator with integrated control quickly and reliably closes the damper after thermal activation at 72°C—even in the presence of grease deposits. Two limit switches enable precise feedback of the damper position and automatic shutdown of the fan.

The FIRESAFE® 3 K90 is suitable for horizontal and vertical duct runs and meets the requirements of fire resistance class K90. It can be flexibly integrated into various wall and ceiling constructions for wet and dry installation. The size increments in 25-mm steps facilitate adaptation to project-specific requirements.

- Below a sliding ceiling connection
